As most of you know, we have discussed in the past about getting new pediatric bags. We have gotten the new bags in and one of them has been set up and is on Rescue 2 at this time. The bag is made for the Broselow-Hinkle System, it has color coded pouches with the intubation and IV equipment needed for that size child in each pouch. On the exterior, the front pouches have the intubation equipment, which have color coded tabs above the blades so you know which size blade to use just by using the Broselow tape which is housed in the other exterior compartment, on the back of the bag.

There is One pediatric BVM in the bag with both pediatric and infant sized masks. There will be an infant BVM placed in the cabinet with the Adult BVM.

Please come in and check through the bag, as both Rescue 1 and 2 will have these bags on them, most likely tomorrow. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and any comments please feel free to share!
