The new iCom IC-F60 has many
of the same features as the previous model.
-
The radio pager will
monitor silently (monitor mode) and alert with a tone and flashing
display when activated.
-
The radio can be
programmed to scan.
-
The priority channel
is programmable.
-
When in monitor
mode
the radio can be silenced.
-
The monitor mode
may be set for fire, rescue or both.
Instructions:
Channel Selection:
Use the up and
down arrows to cycle through the channels.
Priority Channel:
-
Select the desired channel using the
up and down arrows.
-
Push and hold (a beep will sound) P2 to set the
selected channel for priority.
-
The priority channel can be accessed
instantly by pressing P2.
-
When scanning the PTT
(push to talk) button will transmit on the priority channel regardless
of the current channel.
Scan Mode:
-
To enable scanning, the desired channel(s) must be selected and scan-enabled.

To select / de-select a channel
from being scanned:
-
Select the desired channel using
the up and down arrows.
-
Press P1. When scan
is enabled, the LCD
will display SCAN ON. When scan is disabled the LCD will
display SCAN OFF.

Each channel must be selected /
de-selected individually.

To scan, press
P0. To stop scanning press P0.
-
When scanning traffic on the priority channel will take
priority over the scan function.
-
When scanning the PTT
(push to talk) button will transmit on the priority channel regardless
of the current channel.
Pager Silence:
A page may be
silenced by pressing P3. The radio will return to
monitor. If the speaker icon is displayed the radio is not
silenced. Press P3 to silence the radio.
Monitor Channels:

PAGE KFR -
Pager activates for both channel 1 fire and rescue tones.

PAGE KRQ -
Pager activates for channel 1 rescue tones only.

PAGE KFD -
Pager activates for channel 1 fire tones only.

PAGE3 KFR -
Pager activates for both channel 3 fire and rescue tones.

PAGE3 KRQ -
Pager activates for channel 3 rescue tones only.

PAGE3 KFD -
Pager activates for channel 3 fire tones only.
Lock:
The lock button
(red) will lock the buttons to prevent unintended key presses.
